About

While the property Durham Hill Farm sits on was initially established in 1700, our paramount barn structure was built in 1812 as a dairy farm and remains one of Bucks County’s most historic and beautiful stone bank barns. Once known as Fritzlyn Farms, owned by William F. Fretz, it was considered a "fancy farm" that was used as an indoor-outdoor event facility to showcase dairy cows. In the early 1900s, the farm was nationally known to farmers throughout the United States and even parts of Europe for breeding prized Guernsey cattle.

Fast forward to 2014 and the property was purchased by its current owners Kevin and Elizabeth; and today, Durham Hill Farm is one of only two legally zoned barn wedding venues in Bedminster Township, PA. The barn now stands prominently amidst a renovated commercial horse boarding and riding facility and serves as the ideal setting for your special event.

At Durham Hill Farm, we pride ourselves on being veteran-owned and women-owned and operated. The property is owned and maintained by Air Force veteran Kevin Roberts and his wife Elizabeth Roberts, while day-to-day operations are spearheaded by Elizabeth and Meghan Moyer, the farm’s venue director and event coordinator.

In 2015, the farm hosted its very first wedding for owners Kevin and Elizabeth, who had just purchased the property the year prior. At the conclusion of their dream wedding—and at the suggestion of many of their guests—they realized this dream could come true for others as well. So, with some hard work and a whole lot of elbow grease, they made historically appropriate updates to the barn and established a wedding and events venue unlike any other.

Over the years, the farm’s popularity as a wedding and events venue has steadily increased, and Kevin and Elizabeth have welcomed two children to their growing family, prompting them to bring on additional help to meet rising demands. In 2019, Meghan began assisting with weddings and events, then in 2021, she became a full-time member of the Durham Hill Farm team as venue director and event coordinator—and now, she’s sort of like that secret sauce that keeps things running smoothly.

Meghan brings an unmatched level of experience and expertise to the farm, having worked weddings and other events since she was just 15 years old. Her caring and fun-loving personality can make even the most nervous bride or groom comfortable on such a special day. Meghan works hand-in-hand with each couple from beginning to end to ensure their wedding day runs seamlessly and is everything they’ve imagined.

You can rest assured that our small-but-mighty team will work tirelessly to ensure your special day is all you’ve been dreaming of and more. Thanks for considering Durham Hill Farm for your wedding or event. We’re excited to help you make some unforgettable memories.
