The Barn

Our recently renovated, two-story stone barn—originally built in the 1800s—stands prominently amidst green pastures and a renovated horse facility, making it an idyllic setting for your once-in-a-lifetime event. It encompasses five unique spaces, all of which are connected: the main barn, the lower barn, the back barn, the granary, and the bridal suite.

In the event of unpleasant weather, our barn offers everything you need for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, without your guests ever needing to set foot outdoors.

  • Our main barn serves as the focal point of your big day and features a large reception area with ample room for dancing and dining, stone walls, rustic exposed wooden beams, expansive countryside views courtesy of large windows overlooking our horse pasture, and loads of natural light streaming through our glass garage door.

  • Off of the main barn, you have access to our granary with its gorgeous wooden bar area.

  • Our lower barn is located directly below the main barn and offers a cozy but refined atmosphere for pre-reception cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.

  • Our beautiful and airy back barn, featuring hardwood floors and a balcony overlooking our horse pasture, offers a sun-drenched alternative ceremony site.

  • Our stunning bridal suite is located just below the back barn. More details below.

Our barn is designed to accommodate up to 150 people for your special day. Additional features include a surround sound system featuring wall-mounted speakers that your DJ can connect to, dimmable lighting, and heat and air conditioning in all areas except for the main barn. (Our large garage door can be kept open for a nice breeze and propane heat can be added for a fee.)

Our stunning and incredibly spacious bridal suite offers modern amenities and ample room for you and your bridal party to relax and get ready for the big day. The suite features a bathroom with a shower, a private dressing room, a hair and makeup prep counter with outlets for appliances, a comfortable couch and chairs, and a complete kitchenette with a refrigerator, sink, oven, stove, and dishwasher.

From the bridal suite, you’ll also have access to the semi-private bridal courtyard that allows you to step outside without being seen by your guests. As an added bonus, the courtyard looks over the farm’s pastures, and if you’re lucky enough, one of our horses may come right up to you!

The Outdoors

The Outdoors

Surrounding our barn is an equally breathtaking countryside landscape featuring a variety of transitional spaces for your guests to gather and enjoy the farm.

Ceremony Area:

At the base of our proud Bucks County stone barn lies the original barnyard, which now makes an ideal outdoor ceremony space. This grassy lawn area, where guests are seated on wooden chairs or benches, overlooks the horse pasture, Cabin Run Creek, and a wide-open meadow. Our wedding arbor—handcrafted with wood from an old Lancaster tobacco barn—allows you to add personal decorative touches such as florals, greenery, and fabric that’s unique to your wedding. With the pasture as your view and the barn as your backdrop, this ceremony area offers you that aesthetic magic you’re looking for on your wedding day.

Adjacent Grounds:

Surrounding the barn are several areas for your guests to transition from the ceremony to cocktail hour and eventually to the barn for dinner and dancing. Right next to the ceremony space is a grassy area for your guests to enjoy the view and pay a visit to our resident horses. Immediately next to the barn is the carriage house and surrounding outdoor space, which can be used for an intimate cocktail hour complete with whimsical string lights. Moving closer to the barn is the barn hill, where guests can mingle while soaking in the bucolic countryside views. Our spacious, picturesque grounds offer plenty of opportunities for photos and lawn games (corn hole, giant Jenga, tic-tac-toe, and more can be added to your package).

Farm Animals:

Durham Hill is an active horse farm, with several friendly horses that roam our countryside pastures. Oftentimes, they like to join the celebration and trot up to greet you and your guests at the fence-line.
